The strive for human freedom gives new meanings with the old philosophers theories. In the introduction to Sartre’s existentialism of how human nature is an concept that God does not exist. He explains his magical formula “existence proceeds essence”, of which he stated. The will to be human and all too human, Nietzsche stand out in his high critical scale of their moral choices, values, and personal designs. Which the other hand Camus gave a total of a myth of a character Sisyphus. He states that being burden and “in struggle its self toward the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart”. Being in moral fulfillment is to satisfy their own work as even though being in a burden enough state.
In Sartre’s sense is given an explanation with “man is nothing else but what he makes of himself “, creativity but there’s no “will”. Sartre explains his point that human nature drives our mind to our own paths to proceeds it essence. Heighten of that he explain on the subject of bringing out the ” man to invent himself ” and he is responsible of what he chooses. Personally I agree with having choices and being responsible, although where is our moral belief in doing for a will of something higher, which to believe in something more and to choose something meaning full with a purpose. The thought of ” Human Nature ” is correct, though man would be stranded going over and over in their own choices. Sartre would give out reason to defend this which is stated ” the existentialist does not think that man is going to help himself, by finding the world some omen by which to orient himself “. In Sartre’s theories brought new idea to the table, although I do not agree with him with his “Atheistic Existentialism”.
In Nietzsche view of ” Human, all too human”, gave an desire to make a natural sense of he thought of what created or produced judgments, freedom of will and consequences. Morality he explain that anyone that is born through a culture has morals which he states ” To be more correct and virtuous is to be obedient to an old-establishment. law and custom”. Another reason Nietzsche said ” How can a person do a immoral stunt while he person knows that its moral”. I combined two sentences which was meaning for both category. Which I agree in to this.
If someone was born on an island , raised and cared. He was taught in tradition by fellow men on the island. So if I would bring the islander to a modern society , people will question him about different ideas or explaining his cultural differences. His answer might be a whole lot different and his morals would be not the same as those in modern cities. He does not know if he is doing something incorrect or doing the correct thing Being immoral or moral which Nietzsche claims of Possessive morality. he tells on page 20, list 42 “To be “immoral”, therefore, donates that an individual has not felt, or not felt sufficiently strongly, the higher, finer, spiritual motives which have come in with a new culture; it marks one who has remained behind, but only according to the difference of degrees”. Which is why I agree in this term, if someone was brought up differently, and we have evidence to see that he/she is morally different, then why create judgments about them.
Because I agree with Nietzsche is in fact has an large expression on morality of just being an interpretation to cultural differences. Also his other explanations brought more clarity and gave me more outlook on what we possess and our freedom. Nietzsche created a new form of law which he explain as it’s our nature to follow in what we call ourselves today “Man that chooses and know what he is doing ” though I disagree with how he stated ” God is dead ; we have killed him”. He explains with a notion that we’ve killed God and God is not among with us. Although in my own personal experiences feeling spiritual, being contemplative having in a spiritual meaning with an different degree of self -knowledge of one self. It has made me agree to some stuff with Nietzsche , but we both have differences
If Camus created a struggle for moral fulfillment in the myth of Sisyphus. Camus states ” The lucidity that was to constitutes his torture at the same time crowns his victory. there is not fate that cannot be surmounted by scorn”. He examined this carefully of Sisyphus being the “absurd hero”. Why? Camus states ” This is rocks victory, this is the rock itself “. Although he state’s later “Despite so many ordeals, my advance age and notability of my soul make me conclude that all is well “. So this story which is weird, although I agree to this subject, what if provided this into my life. I would be Pushing a rock then until I am up on the top of the hill, then the rock falls. The hard I work the more I feel better of myself. “Moral fulfillment” As I think what is Camus is trying to apply it, he explains in the Myth of Sisyphus. Proceeding on my own life it observes the same differences and applied the same. Life can be a mountain, we can climb it as there would be rough terrain and problems getting to the top. Though we push ourselves to the max until we are satisfied. as in life there are problems we face them as we see in Sisyphus story. Giving an example of a human condition to over and over again with the same thing in life in what we do. Although it finds no meaning full ties , no goal as staying on top. Maybe he is applying to overcome absurdity Sisyphus is pushing this rock as he hikes and with a burden he still believes that he can do this and he is ok with it. Sisyphus accepts his will then he starts pushing that rock without being in anguish or upset. He is his own master of what he does and how he does it. As this can be applied in other of what they do. Creating themselves in being who they are and believing in what they do is totally there own choices if they can keep doing what they do. Sisyphus’ life was meaning was a admitting his fate , and learning that he was going to push this rock and he will be the master of it.
In Conclusion , bringing about what is our Moral value as an interpretation to cultural differences, Creating yourself and being responsible of what you do in life. As also Camus to be a complete surrender to your own will and be your own master in your own story. As these meaning find new heights in our society to understand our own morality or our self without god in the picture. As I disagree with , although in closing I think it’s a great ideas from all.
